Fans React As Mr Eazi Bets On Gender Of Unborn Child With Temi Otedola

Afrobeats star Mr Eazi has sparked reactions online after revealing that he placed a bet on the gender of his unborn child with wife Temi Otedola.

The singer and entrepreneur disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Wednesday, writing: “I just bet on if Temi Ajibade & Mr Eazi are having a boy or girl.”

The post quickly drew attention from fans, with many interpreting it as Mr Eazi’s playful way of joining the excitement surrounding his first child. Others, however, joked that the singer may already know the baby’s gender, while some teased him for turning the pregnancy into a betting conversation.

Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, did not reveal whether he backed a boy or a girl. However, the light-hearted post has fuelled speculation among followers eager to know the gender of the baby.

The development comes weeks after Temi Otedola announced that she and her husband were expecting their first child together. Sharing photos showing her baby bump, the actress and fashion influencer accompanied the announcement with the biblical message: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, Before you were born I set you apart.”

The pregnancy announcement attracted widespread congratulations from fans, celebrities and public figures, marking another milestone for one of Nigeria’s most celebrated celebrity couples.

Mr Eazi and Temi, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, have been together for several years. The pair got engaged in 2022 before sealing their union in a series of wedding ceremonies held in 2025.
